VR workshop with Unity (2025)
The content of this workshop covers a number of concepts and practical aspects that I consider necessary for the implementation of testing protocols using the Unity game engine.
This workshop was initially developed jointly by Erwan David and Maxim Spur while they were post-doctoral researchers at the Scene Grammar Lab (Frankfurt, Germany) in 2022. About ten doctoral and post-doctoral students from the University of Giessen (Germany) participated.
Since then, I (Erwan) have turned part of this workshop into a course modules at my new position, and organized and updated it as a new workshop in 2025 for researchers and research engineers in France.
This workshop will continue to be improved as VR tools/software change.
